IMPORTANT — Niacin may cause a temporary, harmless flushing of the skin in some individuals. This is not an allergic reaction. While a flush free form of niacin was used in Ignite, this can still happen to some individuals. Sensitive individuals may want to start with one capsule initially  or consume with food to reduce this

One of the primary roles of B complex vitamins is energy production. They aid in the conversion of carbohydrates into glucose, which is the primary source of energy for the body. This conversion process is essential for maintaining optimal energy. Additionally, B vitamins are involved in the metabolism of fats and proteins, ensuring that these nutrients are efficiently utilized by the body.

Another important function of B complex vitamins is their involvement in maintaining a healthy nervous system. These vitamins play a vital role in the production of neurotransmitters, which are chemical messengers that transmit signals between nerve cells. Adequate levels of B vitamins help regulate mood, memory, and cognitive function. Vitamin B6, for example, is required for the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that contributes to feelings of well-being and happiness. Similarly, vitamin B12 is necessary for the synthesis of myelin, a protective sheath that surrounds nerve fibers and helps maintain proper nerve function.

B complex vitamins also contribute to overall cardiovascular health. Folic acid (B9) and vitamin B12, in particular, help regulate levels of homocysteine, an amino acid that, when elevated, is associated with an increased risk of heart disease and stroke. By helping to maintain healthy homocysteine levels, these vitamins may reduce the risk of cardiovascular issues.

What separates ignite from other B-complex formulas?

Ignite is one of the first B-complex formulations that offers sufficient dosages of all all 8 B-vitamins, in their ideal form for maximal absorption

What’s the advantage of using methyfolate over folic acid?

Folic acid, also known as vitamin B9, plays a critical role in various bodily functions, including DNA synthesis, cell division, and the metabolism of amino acids.

Methylfolate (5-methyltetrahydrofolate or 5-MTHF) is the biologically active form of folic acid that can be directly used by the body. In most individuals, the body converts folic acid into methylfolate through a series of enzymatic reactions. One of the key enzymes involved in this process is methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR).

Some people have a genetic variation called MTHFR polymorphism, which affects the functionality of the MTHFR enzyme. These polymorphisms can reduce the enzyme's efficiency in converting folic acid to methylfolate, leading to lower levels of bioavailable folate in the body.

For individuals with MTHFR polymorphism, supplementing with methylfolate can be more beneficial than taking folic acid found in some B vitamin formulations. Since methylfolate is the active form of the vitamin, it bypasses the need for conversion by the MTHFR enzyme. This allows people with the MTHFR polymorphism (estimated to be up to 50% of the US population) to maintain optimal folate levels despite their reduced ability to convert folic acid.

What’s the advantage of using hydroxycobolamine and adenosylcobalamin for your B12?

Hydroxycobalamin and adenosylcobalamin are two forms of vitamin B12 that have certain advantages over other forms, such as methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin.

Hydroxycobalamin is a natural form of vitamin B12 that is converted to the active forms of vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin) in the body. One advantage of hydroxycobalamin is that it is a long-lasting form of vitamin B12, which means it can remain in the body for a longer period of time.

Adenosylcobalamin is another natural form of vitamin B12 that is involved in energy metabolism in the body. One advantage of adenosylcobalamin is that it is more readily available to the body's cells than other forms of vitamin B12. This means that it can be more effective at improving ATP.

You’ll be hard pressed to find these two in virtually any B-complex formulation on the market. At least not at ideal dosages

What are the benefits of trimethylglycine?

Trimethylglycine, also known as betaine, is a naturally occurring compound that is derived from beets and other plant sources. TMG can help support healthy homocysteine levels. Homocysteine is an amino acid that is produced in the body as a byproduct of methylation, a process that is essential for the synthesis of many important compounds, including DNA and neurotransmitters. However, elevated levels of homocysteine have been linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and other health problems.

Just like B vitamins, TMG can help support healthy homocysteine levels by donating a methyl group to the homocysteine molecule, which converts it to methionine. Methionine is an essential amino acid that is used by the body to produce proteins and other important compounds.

In addition to its role in homocysteine metabolism, TMG has other potential health benefits. It has been shown to support healthy liver function, improve exercise performance, and support healthy mood and cognitive function.
